What warranty does Sevil Smile Clinic give on dental work in Turkey?
Sevil Smile Clinic gives a lifetime warranty on the implant fixture itself, covering osseointegration failure and fracture, and a five-year warranty on implant-supported prosthetics, zirconia crowns and veneers, counted from the completion of treatment. If covered work fails, the clinic pays for the revision treatment and your accommodation; you pay the flight.

Most clinics in this market talk about warranty in a sentence and never publish the terms. We publish ours on this page: what is covered, for how long, what ends the cover, and who pays for what if you have to come back. Read it before you book — that is the point of it being here.
If a line below is unclear, ask us to put the answer in writing with your treatment plan. A warranty you cannot read before you pay is not a warranty you can rely on afterwards.
What is covered, and for how long

The five years run from the completion of your treatment, not from the day you first sat in the chair and not from the day of delivery of a temporary.
"Lifetime" here means the implant fixture — the titanium screw placed in the bone. It does not mean your whole mouth is covered for life, and it does not extend to the abutment, the crown or the bridge sitting on top of it. Those are the five-year lines in the table above. We are deliberate about this wording because "lifetime guarantee" is used loosely in dental tourism advertising, and a patient who reads it loosely is a patient who will feel misled later.
What is not covered, and what ends the cover
This section is the same size and on the same screen as the section above it, on purpose. Exclusions buried in a footnote are not disclosure.
Cover can be lost through:
- Smoking. Smoking affects healing around an implant. If you smoke, tell us before treatment and we will show you exactly what does and does not apply to your case rather than discovering it at the point of a claim.
- Untreated bruxism (clenching or grinding). Bruxism that is diagnosed and managed is a different situation from bruxism left untreated — again, tell us in advance.
- Trauma or accident — an impact, a fall, a sports injury.
That is the complete list. Missing a routine check-up does not, on its own, void this warranty.
Also outside the scope of this warranty, by nature:
- Anything a dentist where you live charges you. This warranty covers revision work carried out by us; it is not an insurance policy and it does not reimburse third-party invoices.
- The flight. See the table below.
- The outcome itself. No warranty — ours or anyone's — promises that a given treatment will suit you. What it promises is what happens if defined work fails within a defined window.
The honest version: the exclusion list is the part of this page that costs us enquiries. We publish it anyway, because a warranty with no exclusions is not a stronger warranty — it is one nobody has written down yet.
If something fails after you have flown home
Covered revision work can be carried out at any of our three clinics — Istanbul, Antalya or Didim — whichever suits your case.

That third row is in the same table as the first two on purpose. "Free revision" is not free if you are flying from Toronto or Dallas and only find out about the airfare at the worst possible moment. The treatment and the hotel are ours; the ticket is yours.
How to make a warranty claim
Contact the clinic by any route you already have — email, phone or the coordinator you worked with. Your patient coordinator handles the claim from there. You do not need to find a specific department or fill in a specific form; reaching the clinic is enough.
Before you travel, ask us for this in writing alongside your treatment plan:
- Your implant record (system, reference and lot number). You leave the clinic with this document, and it is what lets a dentist in the US or Canada identify what was placed. More on that on our aftercare page.

Use this on us and on every other clinic you are considering. It is the same list either way — that is what makes it useful.

What this warranty is not
It is not medical insurance. It is not a promise that a treatment is right for you — that depends on your own dental and medical history and can only be decided after an examination and imaging. What people ask about the warranty
What happens if my dental implant fails after I return home?
Contact the clinic and your patient coordinator will take it from there. If the failure falls under the fixture warranty — osseointegration failure or fracture of the implant itself — the revision treatment and your accommodation at one of our clinics (Istanbul, Antalya or Didim) are covered by the clinic. You pay the flight. If you need immediate attention, see a dentist where you live first; do not wait for a trip.
Is a lifetime dental implant warranty real?
It is real when the covered part is named. Ours is a lifetime warranty on the implant fixture — the titanium screw itself — for osseointegration failure and fracture: it covers the fixture for as long as it is in place, not your own lifetime as a patient. It does not cover the crown or bridge on top; those carry five years. Any "lifetime guarantee" that does not tell you which component it applies to is worth questioning.
Who pays for revision dental work done abroad?
With us: the clinic pays for the revision treatment and your accommodation, and you pay the flight. Across the market this is often left unstated, which is why we put all three lines in one table rather than mentioning the airfare separately.

From the completion of your treatment.
Does smoking void a dental implant warranty?
Smoking is on our list of things that can end cover. Rather than leaving that as a surprise, tell us before treatment — we will show you what applies to your case in writing, so you decide with the real terms in front of you.
Do you also publish what is not covered?
Yes, on this page, at the same size and on the same screen as what is covered: smoking, untreated bruxism, and trauma or accident. A warranty is only checkable if its exclusions are checkable.
