Your Journey
Your treatment journey, step by step
What does the treatment journey with Sevil Smile Clinic look like, step by step?
You send photos or X-rays and get a written, itemised treatment plan before booking any flight. At the clinic, an in-person exam and a CT scan confirm or revise that plan. Treatment follows, then you fly home with your documentation. A patient coordinator is your point of contact at every stage.
The journey, stage by stage
| Stage | What happens | Who you talk to | Can you still say no? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Send your records | Photos and/or X-rays of your teeth, and a CT scan if you already have one. | Patient coordinator | Yes — nothing has been agreed yet |
| Written treatment plan | A dentist reviews your records; your coordinator sends a written, itemised plan before you book any flight. | Coordinator, drafted by your dentist | Yes — it's an offer, not a commitment |
| You book your flight | You choose your own travel dates once the plan works for you. | You, with scheduling input from your coordinator | Yes |
| Arrival, exam and CT scan | The dentist examines you in person at the Istanbul clinic and takes a CT scan, which confirms or revises the written plan. | Dentist and coordinator | Yes — if the scan changes the plan, proceeding on new terms is your decision |
| Treatment | Carried out in one visit, or staged across your stay, depending on what you are having done. | Dentist | Only before that stage begins |
| Fly home | You leave with your documentation — an implant passport if implants were placed — and a written aftercare schedule. | Coordinator | This trip is complete |
| Follow-up | Routine care goes to a dentist where you live. If something falls under warranty, your coordinator manages the claim. | Patient coordinator | — |
Two stages are worth reading twice. The written plan (stage 2) is priced from your photos and X-rays, but bone volume and gum condition only become fully visible on a CT scan — see when travelling for treatment is, and is not, the right call. And if implants are part of your case, stage 5 is not one visit — it is two trips, several months apart, because the bone needs time to heal before the crown is fitted. When you get to stage 3, see our flights, visas and accommodation guide before you book anything.
At The Clinic
Exam and CT scan, before anything is decided
This is the appointment where a photograph becomes a plan you can rely on. The dentist examines you in person and reviews the CT scan with you, and your coordinator confirms anything that changes in writing before treatment starts. If your case changes at this point, you decide what happens next — not us.

Where you can still say no
- Before you book a flight. The written plan is an offer, not a commitment — take it to another clinic, sit on it, or say no.
- After your CT scan. If what the scan shows changes the plan, the new terms are yours to accept or decline before anything is done.
- Before each stage of treatment begins. Once a stage has started it cannot be undone, but earlier stages in a multi-stage plan can still be reconsidered.

What people ask about each step
What does the treatment journey with Sevil Smile Clinic look like, step by step?
You send photos or X-rays and get a written, itemised treatment plan before booking any flight. At the clinic, an in-person exam and a CT scan confirm or revise that plan. Treatment follows, then you fly home with your documentation. A patient coordinator is your point of contact at every stage.
How long does the whole process take, from first contact to flying home?
The part before you travel — sending records, getting a written plan, booking your flight — can take as little as a week. Once you are in Istanbul, veneers and crowns are usually finished in 3–5 days in a single trip; implants need two separate trips, months apart, so the bone has time to heal, and the first of those trips is longer.
Who is my main point of contact throughout?
Your patient coordinator. They handle scheduling, travel questions and communication from your first message through to your return home. Clinical decisions — what the CT scan shows, whether the plan needs to change — are made by the dentist treating your case, and your coordinator relays those to you in writing.
What happens if the CT scan shows something different from my written plan?
The plan is revised and explained before anything is done. Bone volume and gum condition are only fully visible on a CT scan, not on a photograph, so some adjustment is normal. You are not obliged to proceed on different terms than you originally agreed to — that decision stays yours.
Can I still decide not to go ahead after I have travelled?
Yes. You can decline at any stage before treatment starts — including after the CT scan, if the findings change your mind. What you cannot recover at that point is the cost of the trip itself, which is yours regardless of the outcome. Ask your coordinator how payment is scheduled before you travel, so nothing about that is a surprise.
Send your records, start the written plan
No commitment at this stage — just an itemised plan you can read before you decide anything.
