Destination Comparison
Turkey vs Poland for dental treatment
Is Turkey or Poland the better choice for a US or Canadian patient?
Poland already has year-round nonstop flights from New York and Toronto, so — unlike some other European comparisons — geography is not automatically in our favour here. Where the two destinations actually differ is price: our average and named-brand pricing runs below Poland's market average for full-arch work, though individual Polish clinics can undercut us.

The comparison, criterion by criterion
Poland is the closest thing to a fair fight on geography that this cluster of pages has — Warsaw is already well connected to North America. So we are comparing the things that actually differ: price, what the price includes, and who stands behind it.
What it costs
| Criterion | Sevil Smile Clinic, Istanbul | Poland, market average |
|---|---|---|
| Single-tooth restoration (implant + abutment + crown) | 1,300 € (Astra Tech) ≈ $1,499 1,500 € (Straumann) ≈ $1,730 | 1,448 € average 990–1,601 € range |
| All-on-4, one arch, Straumann | 7,000 € ≈ $8,070 | 9,093 € average 6,500–10,624 € range |
| All-on-6, one arch, Straumann | 8,500 € ≈ $9,800 | 12,280 € average 9,000–14,291 € range |
Prices are in EUR. USD figures are indicative, converted 7 August 2026. Final price is confirmed after examination and a CT scan.

Poland pricing: 123.clinic clinic marketplace, checked 8 August 2026 (single implant, All-on-4, All-on-6). Schedules and fares change — verify before you book.
Same caveat we give on every price page: ask what a Polish quote actually covers before you compare it to ours — see what "the price" usually leaves out.
Three Questions
Ask us these three — and ask them of every Polish clinic on your shortlist
The All-on-6 range we found for Poland runs from 9,000 € to 14,291 € on a single marketplace, for treatment marketed under the same name. A spread that wide is the reason to ask specific questions rather than compare headline numbers.
1. What is in the price — and what is not?
Our prices include:
- Local anaesthetic
- The temporary prosthesis, where the treatment plan calls for one
- Sedation, which is arranged with a partner hospital and quoted individually after your consultation — we do not have a price for it on this page; ask your coordinator.
The 123.clinic figures we cite for Poland do not state whether the quoted number covers the crown or only the fixture — the same scope gap we flag on our own USA comparison. Ask any Polish clinic to confirm in writing before you compare their number to ours.
2. How many years is the warranty, and what exactly does it cover?
Ours: lifetime on the implant fixture, five years on crowns and prosthetics, with the exclusions published on the same page as the promise — see our warranty terms. Ask every Polish clinic for the same length and the same exclusion list, in writing.
3. If something needs fixing once you are home, what actually happens?
At one of our three clinics, your coordinator arranges the revision and we pay for the treatment and the accommodation; you pay the flight. Ask a Polish clinic the same question before you book — a marketplace listing is not the party that stands behind the warranty, the individual clinic is.
If a clinic cannot answer all three in writing before you pay anything, that tells you more than the price on its own ever will.
Where Poland genuinely wins
Poland has the strongest case of any destination in this comparison series, on one specific point that Hungary does not share:
- Real, year-round US and Canadian flight access. LOT Polish Airlines flies nonstop from Warsaw to New York and to Toronto, all year, not seasonally. If you are flying from either city, the flight itself is not a strong argument for choosing us over a Polish clinic.
- EU device regulation, the same real floor as Hungary. Implants placed in Poland fall under EU MDR 2017/745, a clinic-independent regulatory standard.
- The bottom of the Polish price range is close to ours, or lower. The lowest All-on-4 quotes we found (6,500 €) sit below our 7,000 € price; the lowest single-implant quotes (990 €) are close to our own. A patient willing to vet a specific Polish clinic can find pricing that competes directly with us.
Where we think Istanbul is the better call
- The average price, across every procedure we compared. Poland's market average runs above our price on single-tooth, All-on-4 and All-on-6 work alike — the low end of the Polish range can beat us, but the average patient, without deep pre-vetting, is more likely to land near the Polish average.
- Montreal. If you are flying from Montreal, we have a direct route and Poland currently does not.
- One accountable clinic across both trips. The same implantologist who places the implant reviews the healing and fits the final restoration, rather than a different clinic chosen from a second marketplace search for your revision.
- A credential you can check yourself. All three of our clinics appear on the Turkish Ministry of Health's published list of authorised international health tourism facilities. Ask any Polish clinic for the equivalent, and check it yourself before you book.
Before You Book
Why the average still matters more than the lowest quote
The Polish range for All-on-6 — 9,000 € to 14,291 € on a single marketplace, for treatment marketed under the same name — is wide enough that most patients will not land on the cheapest clinic without real research. The average sits above what we charge. We are one clinic, in three locations, and every patient gets the same written plan: the implant brand named before treatment, an implant passport, and the warranty terms and exclusions on the same page.

Getting there from New York, Toronto or Montreal
Unlike our Hungary comparison, this is not a page where we can honestly claim a geography advantage across the board. As of our check on 8 August 2026, LOT Polish Airlines flies nonstop from Warsaw to New York and to Toronto, year-round — broadly comparable in reach, if not in daily frequency, to Turkish Airlines' service to those two cities. If you are flying from New York or Toronto specifically, treat the flight as roughly a wash between the two destinations.
Montreal is where the routes diverge: Turkish Airlines flies nonstop from Montreal to Istanbul several times a week, year-round; there is currently no nonstop Warsaw–Montreal route. If Montreal is your departure city, that is a real, checkable difference in your favour for choosing Istanbul.
Entry itself is not the differentiator — both countries are visa-free for short stays for US and Canadian passport holders. Poland is in the Schengen area, which means the EU is planning to require ETIAS travel authorisation from visa-exempt visitors — not yet in effect as of our check, but worth confirming before you book. See our own flights and entry requirements for Turkey.
One thing EU membership does not do: give a US or Canadian patient a special legal right. The EU's cross-border healthcare directive (2011/24/EU) lets EU citizens reclaim treatment cost from their own health insurer — it does not describe a visitor from the US or Canada.
Implant treatment is typically two trips, several months apart, wherever you have it done — here is what that timeline looks like. With the flight roughly comparable, price and who is actually treating you carry more of the decision than they would against Hungary.
Neither is the right call if…
Some situations are better solved at home, regardless of which country is cheaper or closer:
- You need treatment this week. Both destinations require planning a trip; neither replaces urgent local care.
- You cannot realistically make two trips several months apart, and would rather pay more to have one dentist manage your case in person from start to finish.
- Your case involves a condition that needs frequent hands-on monitoring during healing — something no coordinator, ours or a Polish clinic's, can substitute for remotely.
- You are choosing on price alone, without asking what the number actually includes. That question matters more here than almost anywhere in this comparison, given how wide the Polish range runs for procedures marketed under the same name.

What people ask when comparing Turkey with Poland
Is Poland cheaper than Turkey for dental implants?
Usually not, on average, for full-arch work — though individual clinics can undercut us. As of our check on 8 August 2026 (source: 123.clinic), the average Polish clinic price was 9,093 € for All-on-4 (range 6,500–10,624 €) and 12,280 € for All-on-6 (range 9,000–14,291 €) — both clearly above our 7,000 € and 8,500 € figures. The single-implant picture is closer: the average was 1,448 € (range 990–1,601 €), which falls inside our own 1,300–1,500 € range rather than above it. The low end of each Polish range does come close to, or beats, ours.
Does Poland have direct flights from the US and Canada?
Yes, and this is the real difference from Hungary. As of our check on 8 August 2026, LOT Polish Airlines flies nonstop from Warsaw to New York (JFK) year-round, and Warsaw to Toronto year-round (LOT plus Air Canada). There is currently no nonstop Warsaw–Montreal route. So if you are flying from New York or Toronto specifically, Poland's flight options are genuinely close to ours in convenience — we would rather tell you that than pretend geography is automatically on our side.
Do US and Canadian patients need a visa for Poland?
No visa is required for a short stay — Poland is in the Schengen area, and US and Canadian passport holders currently enter visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. As of our check on 8 August 2026, the EU's planned ETIAS travel authorization for visa-exempt visitors was not yet in effect; check the official ETIAS site before you book.
Is EU regulation a reason to choose a Polish clinic over a Turkish one?
It is one honest reason, and we will not pretend otherwise. An implant placed in Poland has to meet the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745), a real, clinic-independent standard. What it does not do is give a US or Canadian patient a special legal right — the EU cross-border healthcare directive is about EU citizens reclaiming cost from an EU health insurer, not about visiting patients. Ask any clinic, Polish or Turkish, for its own authorisation and complaint procedure, not just the flag on its website.
Why do Polish clinic quotes vary so much for the same procedure?
"Poland" covers a very large number of independently owned clinics — it is not one system with one price list. Our own market check found All-on-6 quotes from 9,000 € to 14,291 € on a single marketplace for what is marketed as the same procedure. That range is a fair reflection of real variation in implant brand, lab and clinic protocol, and it is exactly why we recommend confirming what any quote actually includes before comparing it to ours.
Send your case — start with a written plan
What happens after you send this form:
- 01Send a few photos or a recent dental X-ray, and tell us what is bothering you.
- 02Start with our clinic-trained 24/7 AI assistant to prepare your case; then our team reviews the details and sends a written, itemised plan in English within one business day — brand, warranty and each cost line included.
- 03Your first reply is a plan to review. You decide how to continue after you have it in front of you; the price is confirmed after a CT scan and an examination once you arrive.
