Total Cost Calculator

Total cost calculator: treatment, flights and hotel

How do I work out the total cost of dental treatment in Turkey, not just the treatment price?

A treatment quote is one line of the bill. Add your own round-trip flight and hotel cost, multiplied by the number of trips your treatment needs — one for most veneers and crowns, two for implants and full-arch cases, because the bone needs months to heal before the final restoration. Use the calculator below with your own numbers.

Every "implant from $390" headline you have seen is the treatment line only. It leaves out the second trip an implant needs, and it leaves out your flight and hotel both times. This calculator adds those back in, using your own numbers — we do not know what a flight from your city costs, and publishing an average would make the total meaningless.

Add up your own total

Pick a treatment, tell it how many implants, teeth or arches, then add what a flight and a hotel actually cost from where you live. The number of trips is set by the treatment, not by you — that is the part most quotes leave for you to discover later.

What that adds up to

Treatment — 1 × implant1,300 €$1,499
Trips needed: 2not editable — set by the treatment

This treatment needs two trips: the fixture is placed on trip one; the crown is fitted on trip two, once it has healed. Your flight and hotel number below is charged twice, not once — that second trip is the part most "from $X" prices leave out.

Add your own flight and hotel cost above — the total below does not include travel until you do, because we do not publish an average flight price that would not be true for your city or your dates.

Treatment only, so far$1,499

Ask us — and ask any clinic quoting you a total

Three questions decide whether a headline number is actually comparable to the total above.

  1. 1. Does the quote include the flight and hotel for both trips, or only the treatment line?

A quote that mentions one flight for an implant or full-arch case has priced half the trip.

  2. 2. What is actually included in the treatment price?

    Ours includes:

    • Local anaesthetic
    • The temporary prosthesis, where the treatment plan calls for one

    Priced separately:

    • Sedation, which is arranged with a partner hospital and quoted individually after your consultation
  3. 3. If a second trip is needed, does the clinic say so before you book the first flight, or after?

Ask this in writing before you commit to any travel dates — see how the trip count is set out in our written treatment plan.

One thing worth saying plainly: a calculator that adds up to a bigger number than the ad you saw must be trying to talk you out of booking. Our honest answer: no — we would rather you saw the real total here than discovered the second trip after you had already committed to the first.

And the honest limit of this tool: it cannot tell you which treatment you actually need. That only comes from a CT scan. If you are not sure yet whether your case needs four implants or six, one arch or two, run the numbers for both here, then use a written treatment plan to find out which is correct for you — not to save five minutes on this page.

What people ask about the total cost

Why does the calculator charge my flight and hotel twice for some treatments?

Because implant and full-arch treatment genuinely takes two trips: the fixture is placed first, and the crown or prosthesis is fitted months later, once the bone has healed. Any total that shows one flight for an implant case is showing you half the trip.

Where do the treatment prices in the calculator come from?

From our own published cost pages — dental implants, veneers, crowns and All-on-4/All-on-6 — the same figures used throughout this site, not a separate estimate. If the published price for one of those pages ever changes, this calculator is updated from the same source.

Does the total include the treatment warranty?

The warranty is not a cost, so it does not appear in the total, but it affects what a revision would cost you later. The fixture carries a lifetime warranty and the prosthesis five years; see the warranty terms for what voids that cover.

Can I use this to compare against a quote from home?

Yes, if you compare the finished treatment line against a finished treatment line — implant plus crown against implant plus crown, not implant fixture against a full US quote. Our dental-treatment-cost-turkey-vs-usa page walks through that comparison in more detail.

Does the total account for getting money back from my insurance?

No. US dental insurance is a separate question from what this trip costs, and we cannot tell you what your plan reimburses. See our insurance page for the documents we provide and the questions worth asking your insurer before you rely on any reimbursement.
